Why Nova Care Consultants?

We're not just Independent Care Advisors, we are registered and regulated health and care practitioners with decades of experience in NHS and Social Services. We're also all experienced managers who have led NHS and Social Services teams, and whilst being a manager or leader is not a requirement for independent practice, we believe it enhances the service standard and quality you receive.

We truly understand the care systems and their complexities. We're here to shine a light on assessing, sourcing, setting up, monitoring and reviewing care services.

We're also able to work with families longer term, and some of our team are able to run Family Group Conferences, which are very similar to mediation. We believe that when we work together, we can achieve great things for the person in need.

Our flagship care advisory and care management services are designed to guide you safely through every step of your care journey.

In England and Wales, if you have over £23,250 (England) or over £50,000 (Wales), you become what is known by Social Services as "self-funding". This means you have to pay for all your care. We can help guide, navigate and arrange the right care for you, at the right price. We illuminate all your care options with clarity, compassion, and expertise.

Our packages

Our Lighthouse Service is offered in three unique levels. Read more below:

LightSupport includes a personalised care finding report. We scope out and report on your care home or care in the home options. Suitable for those seeking non-urgent support. Fees start from £395. We can even offer ongoing services.

• An easy-to-follow care market report, including comments on CQC ratings and a sustainability review.

BrightSupport includes a face-to-face assessment and care recommendations. We can also prescribe or recommend equipment. If you're in urgent need of support, we recommend this insightful package. Fees start from £725. We can even offer ongoing services.

• A detailed health and care needs report by a qualified nurse, social worker or occupational therapist.

• An optional support plan is available upon request and for an additional fee.

NovaSupport combines both the LightAssess and BrightAssess packages. We take away the stress and worry about care, and we'll coordinate everything from your assessment to procuring the right care services. We can even offer ongoing services.

• A detailed health and care needs report by a qualified nurse, social worker or occupational therapist.

• An easy-to-follow care market report, including comments on CQC ratings, a sustainability review, which is combined with an analysis of your assessed health and care needs.

• Recommendations of up to 3 suitable care providers within your area.

These packages are ideal for self-funding clients, their busy families, or legal professionals acting on behalf of clients. We really offer you the whole package in care assessments and procurement of care services. We tailor the care to your needs, rather than fit you into a service. We offer a comprehensive full care management service called Living Safe and Well. Our Living Safe and Well services could be provided at no cost to you*

Silver Service: fees from £10 per week

Gold Service: fees from £30 per week

Platinum Service: fees from £110 per week

* If you are eligible for Attendance Allowance or Personal Independence Payment, you may opt to pay us from this non-means-tested benefit, which means we can act at no cost to you.
