Our Fees

We can offer an assessment and appeals service for a fixed fee, working to an hourly rate, and covering stages 1-3. Other firms we know charge over £13,500, and one company a client told us quoted in excess of £43,000, and that was excluding VAT. Whilst we're not the most cost-effective service, we are by no means anywhere near the most expensive.

We work to an hourly rate, which is graded by the level of expertise of the professional. Our consultants start at £135 per hour, our senior consultants from £165 per hour. Sometimes, we may suggest that a senior consultant or a director consultant oversee a case, rather than lead it, which reduces the cost to you and the client. We're happy to discuss how this works in practice. You have the option to cap working hours, and we may recommend this in certain cases.

Don't need the full appeal service? If you require expert advocacy only, our hourly rate for advocacy support starts at £195 per hour for clients who have not used our Stage 1-3 service, or the consultant's hourly rate for clients who have used our Stage 1-3 service.

How Long Does The Process Take?

This is a tricky question to answer, as each case can vary from weeks to months. As a guide, Local Appeals will take us around 3-4 weeks, and an NHS England appeal, around 6-8 weeks. This is a guide only, as we have supported some cases in under 3 weeks before, and one took us over 12 weeks, but in these cases, we secured over a quarter of a million pounds refunded to the client, and it took over a year, but we secured the result. We track all our work, and you can view your progress on your client page.

Extended consultation with an expert CHC specialist

We are multi-award-winning experts providing comprehensive assistance and support to appeal and secure the free care you're entitled to. We provide a thorough CHC review of your case and only accept cases with a good* prospect of success. We are currently offering a reduced consultation at the rate of £270.

* As regulated health and care professionals, we provide expert determinations based on our professional opinion and extensive experience. In line with our ethical standards, we only accept cases where we believe there is a reasonable prospect of success (typically 55% or higher), as we feel it would be unethical to accept your investment when the likelihood of a favourable outcome is minimal.
